The tools that could answer these questions used to live behind enterprise contracts and forensic labs. We started CaraComp in 2024 to change that — to put fast, accurate, privacy-respecting face comparison in the hands of anyone who needs it, from professional investigators to a parent double-checking a stranger’s profile.
You upload two photos. CaraComp analyzes the facial geometry in each and returns a similarity score in seconds, along with the detected facial attributes behind the result. No guesswork, no “they kind of look alike” — a measurable answer you can act on.
CaraComp is built on production-grade computer-vision and deep-learning models — the same class of facial-analysis technology used in security and identity-verification systems. Rather than comparing pixels, our pipeline maps the underlying facial landmarks and geometry of each image, which is what allows it to recognize the same person across different angles, lighting, ages, and image quality.
